I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University. My research and teaching focus on modern and contemporary Latin American and Latinx poetry, translation studies, avant-garde movements, and hemispheric cultural production, with particular attention to the politics of language, media, and revolutionary aesthetics.

Before joining Yale, I held positions at Princeton University, Washington and Lee University, and Kenyon College. I received my Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies, with a certificate in Translation Studies, from Washington University in St. Louis in 2022.
